Terms and Conditions

Bookings:

All bookings are made in good faith and are strictly on a "first to pay deposits" secures the trip basis.

All bookings are required to pay a 20% deposit as soon as booking is confirmed.

Final payments must be made no later than 2 months prior to departure.

Refunds:

All deposits and payments for trips are non-refundable. If a trip is cancelled any monies paid will be utilized towards a re-arranged trip.

If another booking is secured for a cancelled trip then all monies paid will be refunded less a 15% cancellation fee. This cancellation fee may be applied to another booking.

This refund policy will not be varied.

Refund policy due to inclement weather is set out below.

No refunds for airfares will be given in the event of a trip being cancelled due to inclement weather.

Inclement Weather:

The safety of all passengers is of primary concern.

Therefore the boat captain will have the final say as to whether the boat commences the trip or may need to seek shelter during a trip. All passengers should be aware that parts of the Northern Territory may on rare occasions experience cyclones during the February to April period.

In the event that the trip is cancelled due to inclement weather no refund will be given but passengers will be given the option to avail themselves of the next available trip or another trip that suits the passengers. 

In the event of a trip leaving port and being unable to complete more than 50% (4 days for a standard 8 day trip) of its scheduled charter due to inclement weather, then a replacement trip will be offered at a discount rate of 20%.

Insurance:

All passengers are strongly advised to take out personal travel (air fare and accommodation) insurance and if bringing their own fishing tackle that it is covered for damage or loss.

Replacement of Fishing Tackle:

All fishing tackle and lures are supplied on a "pay if lost basis". All passengers may bring their own equipment on the basis that any damage to that equipment is the sole responsibility of the passenger. No claims will be paid for personal fishing gear damaged or lost during the trip regardless of the circumstances.

Reels that are supplied by the operator that are immersed in salt water will be deemed to have been damaged and a service fee will apply.

Medical / Dietary Requirements:

It is the responsibility of the passengers to inform the company/operator of any medical/dietary requirements prior to departure. All passengers must supply their own medications and ensure that they have sufficient for the duration of the trip.
